Instructions for replacing the Manduca First/XT waist belt buckle:
Always replace the entire waist belt buckle, even if only one side is broken. The female part (plug) must be threaded onto the short end and the male part (socket) onto the long end of the Manduca hip belt. We recommend taking a photo of both buckles before unthreading them. This way you can check whether the belt is actually threaded correctly. First, pull the belt tightly onto the hip belt. Now hold the buckle firmly and push only the end of the belt through the buckle, creating a large loop at the buckle. Then place the sewn end of the belt on the belt and press both firmly together into the slot. Now pull the strap through the slot (do not push it!). The thickly stitched strap ends provide additional security, ensuring that the strap cannot slide through the buckle on its own, even if it is overlapped.
Safety note: To ensure safety, defective Manduca buckles may only be replaced with original ones.
